Currently I have faux leather (maybe its real leather but assuming mid 2000's Chrysler it's probably faux) with suede inserts. Apparently my ass has done a number on the suede and its looking pretty rough. The leather is OK but the suede is the big problem. Since I dont want to deal with a full reupholster job Im thinking about just going the seat covers route.
Has anyone used coverking? Im thinking their neosupreme would be sufficient in cost and functionality.. not trying to get anything too fancy.
Also lol at professional installation. The back bench is like 4 bolts and the bottom pulls up and out. Yes I've thought about removing the seats (#weightreduction #7lbs) and turning it into a big stereo mount (no not really).

That sounds like a wonderfully terrible idea. But unfortunately my seats have the seatbelt coming out of the seat itself, not the body. So those wouldnt work too well. Unless I go full on Yolo and get the crossfire seats. I mean.. who needs seatbelts anyways.. pshhhh

That's just Chrysler doing their thing with those built in seatbelts.
But since you are in Virginia, Right? You'd probably get around three years in jail, five years in probation, a prison wife, and a lot of prison wine for driving without one.

Sounds about accurate on the sentencing. But you forgot the part where the judge karate chops you in the throat after verbally berating you for an hour.
The one good thing about the seatbelt design however is that it makes it easier for anyone to get in the back seat without clotheslining themselves. Then again the floor space behind the driver seat is occupied by this..

Oh, Haha. You could probably use that as a selling point.

My car is new but I'm thinking about covers to protect them from dogs and such. Currently using sheets or towels

Head to a junkyard. For what you'll pay for covers you could get a whole new seat.
